Wanda Schwartz is raking in the dough selling Bobbie-Sue Cosmetics—and she’s a pro at recruiting new saleswomen. So, she’s shocked when a man comes to one of her in-home parties—a very hot man. Heath Jefferson is sure to put some extra spin into a lot of women’s color wheels.
When Wanda is diagnosed with a terminal illness, it doesn’t have to be a death sentence. With a werewolf and a vampire for best friends, she has options that most ordinary people wouldn’t. As Wanda ponders what to do about her mortality, Heath reveals he has secrets, and one of them is that his former bloodlust has turned into an old-fashioned lust—for Wanda. And he’s already given up too much to lose the love of his lifetimes.
It's Wanda's turn to have a story. I got the book 3 days before it's release date and I felt so lucky. Well I thought since Marty's now a werewolf and Nina's now a vampire, I was expecting that Wanda will be something like a faerie or an immortal that drinks that Elixir potion to live the immortal life. Heck no I was completely mistaken. Then I thought Heathcliff Jefferson is going to give that to her, wrong again. But I did figure out that she is dying of that certain cancer, which was heartbreaking :(. Like Nina's story Wanda's full of quirky mishaps and erotic scenarios and a lot of Nina-Marty "word" war match. I can't really relate too much on Wanda's character. I don't do list, I don't know much about make up, I am rarely reasonable, and I can't be the peace maker amongst friends. All we have in common is we read a lot of these dang paranormal novels. Her character is very likable though, not too meek and not to tough either. I am actually more of a combined Nina and Marty personality. I love Heathcliff his straight forward cocky nature and uber sweet personality is exactly what Wanda needs. My favorite part was when she started cussin' hahaha, I like the way she wants to live the remaining days of her life by actually living it. I will do the same thing, except I will tell my friends and family right away. My only protestation was the ending seemed rushed, I guess I was expecting more, after all of all 3 friends Wanda's the one who is all about HEA. (Happily Ever After)
