James Potter - Hall of the Elders Crossing by G. Norman Lippert
My wish has been granted. I have found a book that now continues the legacy of a Potter. Seeing the title for the first time, I thought I was going ot read something from the past, the adventures of the young James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew. But no, I was even more ecstatic when I found out that this is all about James Potter II now. Son of our beloved Harry and Ginny and their younger cohorts, the story starts very cliche, James - being insecure because he thought he have to live up to his father's shadow and introduction of new characters and all that. It was a very good book but needs more improvements and stronger personality on characters. I love the fact that Lippert wrote something about the potential threat of sharing the secrets of the Magical kingdom to the Muggles and the reintroduction of Merlin (the greatest Magician of fiction). Then there was the American delegate from the U.S Wizarding school called the Alma Aleron led by Benjamin Franklyn, yes the dude in $100, haha that part was pretty clever. Some traditions are still kept in this book. the Sorting for first years, old characters and their traits, and they still have usual 1 year max for the D.A.D.A teachers. I'm glad because all it is really is a continuation of the magical school of Hogwarts and the people around it with new heroes and evil ones of course.
It also have some witty dialogues and sarcastic remarks from Zane. I wish Lippert would up the ante on the 2nd and third book though. All in all a very interesting and a must read.
