Megan BerryZombie Settler extraordinairejust wants Pom Squad to trounce Cheer Team in this freakishly funny follow-up to You Are So Undead to Me. But someones turning coma victims into settler-resistant ├╝ber-zombiesand everyone thinks its Megans fault! Well, except for super-creepy male cheerleader Aaron. (Ew!)Megs also being stalked by a hotalbeit undead seer named Cliff. Can Cliffs premonitions help Megan stop a zombies-on-ice deathscapade and discover whos really behind the coma-killer crusade before an entire army of undead rise up? And when Megans boyfriend Ethan grows jealous of Cliff, will it end their intra-settler romance?Stacey Jays snarky teen-speak is dead-on and hysterical! Ally Carter better get used to the smell of grave dirt . . .

I'm not into zombie novels. I tried but I just couldn't get into it, but this is an exception, the heroine and her cohorts are alive human being extraordinaire. They call themselves as Settlers, they are highly trained gifted individuals that fulfill the last wishes of the newly dead raised as zombies. before their spirits can actually put to rest. They also kill zombie rouges who feed on human flesh that are raised by witches who uses dark magic to sic their enemies.

The plot was interesting, it was one of those unputdownable books.
In their sort-of-normal lives Megan is simply a member of the pom squad led by her former ach nemesis and fellow Settler Monica. battling the high school basketball's half time perfomance slot with their school's cheering squad.  The zombie situation was... there was a person raising undead zombies using coma patients at the nearby hospital. Since Megan is portrayed as this Super-Settler the organization immediately suspect that she is the one responsible for raising them. Her gift and power have a capability of perfoming such dark magic. She surely did not know that, thus her plead to being not guilty. But nobody seems to believe her but Monica and Ethan. To get matters worst she got a Unsettled, named Cliff that keeps coming back from the grave and later on became a nuisance with her relationship with Ethan (her hot Settler 19 year old noyfriend). Don't get me wrong the dude was nice, sweet and totally harmless and he has proven to be an ally but he was also her weakness in this stressful situation (on the romance department). It does not also help that Megan's parents are keeping a secret from her.

Undead Much?... is an exciting book full of heroic deeds and confusing twist (I write that as an endearment).
I like Megan, she's strong (mentally, physically and emotionally), beautiful and does a great job being a Settler. I like Ethan too he proved to be a good boyfriend and an excellent ally. There were moments that I like the love triangle but there were times that I wished Megan could have just felt differently towards Cliff, he is a zombie, after all. Sure he wasn't rotting... yet, but it still grossed me out. The last part of the battle was gory and definitely had black magic written all over it, this just proves that the next novel will be darker and more dangerous. The book hasn't even been released yet but I'm already looking forward on reading book 3.

BookBlips: vote it up!

I've also had trouble getting into zombie novels. This sounds pretty cool, though!

Huh...believe it or not, I haven't actually read or attempted to read a zombie novel. May have to rectify that so I can claim one team or the other....thanks for sharing!
